iFocus Mission celebrated its 60th Super Sunday on 20th October 2013 by hundreds of mission members amidst the august presence of illustrious leaders from various fields.
Tone was set by power responses from members of recently concluded batches who showcased their initiative, acumen and prowess sharing personal experiences. Success moments of all the mission members, premiers, secretaries and directors were rejoiced by one and all.
Chief Coordinator of the Mission, Sri K Vasudeva Sarma garu fondly recollected the humble beginnings of iFocus Mission. He added that such large gatherings of positive people at the mission are made possible only because of the blessings of Sadguru Sri Sivananda Murthy garu. Then the dignitaries addressed the gathering.
Shri Ponnala Lakshmaiah garu, minister for information technology and communications in Andhra Pradesh, said that the day is very special for all who assembled, as it is the Super Sunday. He urged that coming together of people is essential towards nation building. He congratulated the mission in mobilizing energetic young people. He stated that he is seeing the future of India in the faces of people at iFocus Mission.
Mr. Krishna Tammireddy – Head, App World & Content Marketing, APAC, Middle East & Africa at BlackBerry, said that he is delighted to be with the people in the mission. He said only such get together can help people to understand each other and also oneself.
PadmaShri Dr Ananda Shankar Jayant, one of India’s leading classical dancer, choreographer, scholar, dance teacher and a senior officer of the Indian Railways complimented the audience for joining the meeting on Super Sunday to listen to the experts without wasting time on other activities. She called upon everyone to understand their core self and build oneself upon that strong foundation to emerge as awesome individuals.
Dr S. Vijaya Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Vijay Nirman Company Private Ltd., congratulated everybody in iFocus Mission and wished them great future ahead.
Prof. K S Ratnakar, Chairman of Global Medical Education Research Foundation, said that iFocus Mission is the need of the hour to bring about a positive shift in the outlook of the society. Quoting from stories he underlined the need to learn, unlearn and relearn to have continuous growth in life.
Finally, a new blog on iFocus Mission to provide updates and to continue association among members was declared open on the occasion. The meeting ended after the release of the new iFocus Mission ‘T- Shirts’ and exchange of pleasantries during the sumptuous lunch arranged on the occasion.
