iFocus soldiers celebrated Friendship day by sowing the seeds of friendship among the people of newly formed twin states at Ravindra Bharati.

Student soldiers, Brigadiers, Premiers, Secretaries and Directors assembled on the stage to greet the guests and welcomed everyone to be a part of our celebrations. Chief Mentor of the mission, Sri Vasudeva Sarma garu joined them to invite the guests. He fondly recalled the initial days of iFocus Mission and how it progressed over the last eight years. Emphasizing the need to develop friendship and companionship by bringing people together, he explained the path shown by Sadhguru Sri Sivananda Murthy garu, who relinquished his royal lifestyle to educate and bring together common public. 

ELITE PERSONALITIES

  1. Sri K V Ramana Chary, Former IAS officer and Advisor to Telangana State appreciated the spirit behind conducting ‘Maitree Vaaradhi’. He noted that the objective of this idea is accomplished as the days newspapers carried the photographs of new chief ministers of twin states shaking hands together representing bonds of friendship.
  2. Dr. Jaya Prakash Narayana, Lok Satta President in his address recalled that human civilization could progress and come this far, only because of associating with one another. He said that friendship is in the genes of people.
  3. Sri Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary, Honorable Speaker of Telangana State Assembly said that he is overwhelmed to see the gathering and liked the initiatives taken up to empower people. The tradition of mutual respect and trust would continue in future also. Deeply expressing his appreciation, he noted that i Focus Mission could become a trend setter for the coming generations.
  4. Sri Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao, Telugu Scholar and lyricist enthralled the audience by reciting poems appreciating rich qualities of Telugu people. He wished well for the Chief Ministers of newly formed Telugu States through another poem and assured the audience that great days are ahead. He called upon Sri Vasudeva Sarma garu as Yuva Guru to the thunderous applause of the audience.
  5. Dr. Andesri, Indian poet and lyricist said that he is ecstatic to see the power response of the audience. His songs and renditions in which he called upon everybody to stand up for one another and be winners for ever, mesmerized the audience.

The meeting ended with National Anthem followed by exchange of hundreds pleasantries, best wishes, warm hugs and photo sessions.
