“A friend in need is a friend indeed”
The age old saying of friendship has become the common thread connecting the people, programs and practices organized under the umbrella of iFocus Mission.
iFocus Mission members have been celebrating friendship ‘Maithreem Bhajata’ on the occasion of the Friendship day every year by recognizing and rewarding the rich contribution of people who made a constructive difference to others. Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad, has witnessed these magical moments on the forenoon of 6th August 2017 along with an overflowing audience, including mission members with their families and friends. Smiles were seen flashing around with people exchanging friendship day greetings and also rejoicing the Raksha Bandhan occasion.
Cultural programmes were held in the beginning with songs, dances and art performances by the mission members.
EVOLUTION OF THE MISSION
Sri Vasudeva Sarma, Chief Coordinator of the iFocus Mission, fondly recollected the rich contributions of Sadhguru Sivananda Murthy garu and people associated with the mission during its progression. He wondered how Sadhguru has envisioned the strong emergence of the iFocus mission long back in the year 2005, from a small activity – to a programme – to an organization – to a MISSION and later, the today’s form of a near revolution.
Recognizing the need to empower the citizens to make the nation strong he highlighted how iFocus Mission members are extending their support to one another to build passionate careers and positive lifestyles – through sharing of knowledge, skills and other resources.
INAUGURATION OF “MANAKOSAM”
A startup funding initiative, “Manakosam” was inaugurated on the occasion, which intends to provide financial support to the viable startups with ‘All for one ~ one for all’ concept of iFocus.

The dignitaries who graced the occasion includes:
- Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Central Minister for Labour and Employment.
- Shri Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao, Telugu Veda Kavi.
- Shri P.V.R.K. Prasad, Retired IAS and former media advisor to Prime Minister.
- Shri S Venugoplachary, Ex-MP, Official Representative, Govt. of TS at New Delhi.
- Dr.S. Vijay Kumar, Chairman, Vijay Nirman.
AWARD CEREMONY TO THE NOTABLE PEOPLE
- Lokahitha Award: Smt. & Sri Kuppa Rama Gopala Avadhani garu, Chief Co-ordinator at iFocus Mission.
- Sujanahitha Award: Sri U Rama Mohan Rao, SP Cybercrimes in CID and few others were awarded.
- Yuvahita Award: Yuvahitha Smt. Yamuna Pathak, Eminent Social Activist and Sri Sk. Shareef, Founder – Friends2Support were facilitated with this award.
- Dheera Kisan Award: Farmers were facilitated with the most prestigious award.
- Mythree Vaaradhi Award: Sri K.CH.A.V.S.N Murthy C.A. from A.P. and Sri M.V.P.S.Prasad Rao C.A. from T.S. in recognition of their friendship spanning five decades.
