iFocus Mission rediscovered the true spirit of its ideology on the eve of Super Sunday celebrations held on 14th July 2013 at Mahendra Function Hall, Kachiguda, Hyderabad. Eminent personalities from various domains shared experiences from their personal and professional fronts. In all, it was a day to prove and realize that: ‘Excellence is in the details’.
Program began with upbeat reactive sessions by the Level -1 members who recently completed their initiation into the mission. Later ‘B10 – Brigadier’ batch members, those who achieved milestones in their careers/professions were called and the players – winners of recently conducted iFocus Mission Cricket League matches were called on to the stage and congratulated them. Youth club displayed the placards of ‘Think Rally’ undertaken by the mission at various centers of twin cities. Mission members fully enjoyed various fun cultural activities and fondly recollected the messages given by earlier speakers at Saptaswa and Shadanga functions under the theme ‘Elite Speak’.
Chief Coordinator of the mission Sri Vasudeva Sarma garu joined other dignitaries on stage to greet one and all. He explained the need to think and recognize the minute details in order to take informed decisions for ensuring long lasting success. He emphasized the need to learn, unlearn and relearn on a continuous basis.
Sri I.Y.R. Krishna Rao, IAS called upon the youth to assimilate highest values from Indian culture and ethos and appreciated Ms. Dhana Lakshmi for daring to resign the job which demanded work going against her value system of truth and honesty.
Sri Murali Krishna, CEO of Ultra Seeds expressed his pleasure to be at the function and recalled his humble beginnings studying in Government school and shared how his father’s guidance helped him to develop his multiple qualifications.
Dr R.S. Praveen Kumar, IPS, expressed his happiness looking at the large gathering. He explained how he internalized the finer aspects of leadership by understanding others, obeying the seniors and standing up for a cause. He appreciated the iFocus Mission for undertaking ‘Think Rally’.
Sri C.V.L. Narasimha Rao, Advocate and Cine Artiste, who addressed the gathering later appreciated various initiatives of iFocus Mission towards promoting social consciousness. He fondly recollected how he was undertaking similar initiatives like traffic focus and nature focus along with his group some years back.
Sri Akasam Raghunath, who is the co-founder and director at Akasam Consulting shared his success secrets with the audience and gave instance of how the current educational system is not giving necessary confidence to all the students.
The meeting ended with the felicitation of members who contributed enormously by referring their near and dear ones to the iFocus Mission. Later everyone enjoyed the lunch and blessed the sponsors of the lunch in their traditional style.
